Messi Scores… But Inter Miami Gets Crushed 4-1 by Minnesota United!

Inter Miami fans had high hopes when Lionel Messi stepped onto the pitch, but things quickly fell apart in a shocking 4-1

loss to Minnesota United.

The game started with Minnesota dominating early, putting two goals past Miami's defense in the first half. Miami looked confused and shaky, like a team that just couldn’t get it together. It wasn’t until the second half that Messi gave fans something to cheer about with a brilliant goal. For a moment, hope was alive.

But that joy didn’t last long.

An own goal by Inter Miami’s Weigandt was a big blow—and it only got worse when Minnesota added a fourth. The energy in the stadium shifted. Fans were stunned. The team looked defeated.

Luis Suarez was missing from the lineup, and his absence was clearly felt. Without his presence up front, Messi was left to do most of the work, and that simply wasn’t enough. Even the substitutions made to turn things around couldn’t stop the bleeding.

This loss marks one of the worst since Messi joined the club. And now, questions are starting to rise—can this team really compete without tightening up its defense and getting key players back in action?

One thing is clear: scoring a goal is great, but it takes a full team effort to win matches. Messi can’t do it all by himself.
